It looks like tomorrow they will place the drain.
Alisa continues to have escalating pain.
Her doctor said he is worried. He is worried we haven't been able to stop the fevers, and that the pain getting worse is the tumor getting bigger.
We still have a couple of tricks to try, but today was a discouraging day.
We will try and let you know when things come up. It is really hard for Alisa to respond to all the emails and texts, she falls asleep easily during any of these tasks...
We do believe there will be brighter days. We are looking forward to them.

Josh, I am so sorry you are going through this. It breaks my heart. Knowing she is in so much physical pain brings me to tears. Your family constantly occupies my thoughts. Give Alisa a hug from me. Tell her I love her and have so much admiration for the beautiful person she is. I am truly grateful for her friendship. Hoping tomorrow is a better day for you both.
ReplyDeleteSuch a trooper, I do not think any of us can even imagine her pain. Praying she will get the relied from the draining. Your always so good to keep everyone in the loop. Praying for a better day tomorrow And a night of comfort for your family.
ReplyDeleteRelief.. sorry for any typos, my phone isn't fun to type on.

You both amaze me with your gift of being honest, realistic, and ever-hopeful. We are praying for both of you so hard, you must be so exhausted. We love you so much.
ReplyDeleteDavy and I sat here tonight thinking what we wouldn't do for our friends to make this better. We will keep praying and being hopeful for both of you.
ReplyDeleteI am so very sorry for the discouraging day you had. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I think it is harder in some ways to be the caregiver sitting by with such an array of complicated feelings to hold. My heart goes out to you Josh. You and Alisa were made for each other; both strong and faithful. Praying tonight for an extra measure of peace as you place your family firmly in the arms of a loving Father.
ReplyDeletePlease please let us know if there is anything we can do to help. We are here! Love you guys! Hang in there.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the updates Josh. Thinking of you both often! Give Alisa a squeeze from me!
